Prompted in part by that huge NYT piece the other day by that pol-phil doctorate guy who now repairs motorcycles in West Virginia, I've begun an inquiry into the matter: I, personally, am going to re-paint my electric guitar, and see if it brings me any perspective or Zen or at least a fun "hey, cool" moment.
